Rest is resistance.
Trauma-informed therapy for the burnt out perfectionists and people pleasers
You're exhausted from the cycle of anxiety, people pleasing, and perfectionism.
It’s like you can never feel good enough.
Throughout your life you’ve struggled with feeling “good enough”. You’re constantly hearing and believing the opinions of others. You measure yourself against the expectations of family and society, and you’ve lost your sense of who you are. You fear that letting go of perfectionism will cause you to lose your edge.
It doesn’t have to be that way.
Together we will work on exploring how you got here and what you’re protecting yourself from by trying to be perfect. We will unpack the years of people pleasing and fitting yourself into a mold that isn’t you. We will work on understanding your inner dialogue and identify how to communicate your needs. Through practicing effective boundary setting techniques, we’ll build on your self-worth and authenticity.
Enough pushing your needs to the side. Your future self will be so proud.
Thinking systemically
Why see a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
for individual therapy?
We are all shaped by the families, cultures, communities, and systems we grow up in. Over time, these influences can affect how we see ourselves, relate to others, and navigate the world — sometimes in ways that no longer serve us. In therapy, we’ll explore these patterns together and work toward helping you feel more grounded, authentic, and aligned with the life you want to create.
